I took the opportunity to work under the Associate Commissioner of Communications of the MIAA over the duration of the 2026 spring semester. In this position, I help design both digital and print graphics for MIAA championships, photograph national and conference tournaments, and contribute to meetings with coaches and other administrators. Below are a few of the projects and photographs that were used for MIAA social platforms or print signage.

Official Tournament Program.
Designed for digital use on the championship website. The front page was created with university assets on Adobe Photoshop. All additional pages were edited and created on Adobe InDesign.
Conference Clinched Graphics.
Created 20 university-specific graphics as teams clinched the conference tournament. Created using Adobe Photoshop. Posted on X.
National Championship Numbers graphic.
Created to congratulate and announce the 3 added national championship teams, as well as the additional 68 first-team All-Americans. Created using Adobe Photoshop. Posted to X.
Tournament Credentials.
Created 5 different colored graphics for the different levels of access for the groups. Designed using Adobe Photoshop. 1 of 2 print media designed for the tournament.
National Girls & Women In Sports Day Graphic.
Created for X and Instagram story sizing. Designed using Adobe Photoshop. Included all women’s sports from around the conference.
Weekly Standings Graphic.
A weekly graphic that was posted on X and Instagram stories, displaying updated women’s and men’s rankings. Men’s graphics were blue, and Women’s were red to maintain consistency. These were created using Adobe Photoshop.
Street Banners.
Following the guidelines of being able to clearly read what conference, where it was taking place, that it was a basketball tournament, and that it could be used year after year. I used consistent assets from the brand guideline I created. Designed in Adobe Illustrator. During this process, I had constant communication with VisitKC to ensure correct sizing and format.
Warmup Hype Video for Socials.
1 of 50+ stories produced and posted over the course of the tournament. Shot on a Canon R6 Mark II, edited with Premiere Pro. Shot, edited, and posted pregame to Instagram stories.
D2 Day Graphic for Social.
Designed for National D2 Day. I needed to include all teams within the conference, as well as keep the D2 theme of “make it yours”; this meant including the commitment to excellence in the classroom, on the fields, and in the community. I created this for X, Instagram stories, and Facebook. This graphic was designed using Adobe Photoshop.
